Organizers site the weekend the event was set to take place in 2019 as the reason why the event will not be held in 2019 at The Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park. “The traditional weekend for the Wanee Music Festival in 2019 falls on the same weekend as Good Friday, Easter and Passover. It has been the Wanee Festival experience in the past that many of our regular festival goers decide not to attend on this weekend, due to the holiday being one that many choose to spend with their family, friends and religious faith,” reads a portion of the note from Wanee organizers. The statement asks festival goers to “stay tuned for future Wanee announcements.”
