On March 1, Weezer will release The Black Album via Crush Music/Atlantic Records. Today, the California-based band shared the video for the record’s second single “Zombie Bastards” and announced a co-headlining show with Pixies at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The band’s forthcoming LP was produced by TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, with Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo writing all the record’s songs on the piano. Check out the video for “Zombie Bastards” below:
Weezer had previously detailed a spring run with The Pixes. The two bands have now revealed that they play Madison Square Garden with TV on the Radio and Basement providing support on March 12. Fans can join Weezer’s mailing list by November 25 at 7 p.m. ET to receive a code for access to the pre-sale which starts November 26 at 11 a.m. ET. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, November 30 at 12 p.m. ET.
