White Denim has announced their first batch of headlining tour dates for 2019. The rock band from Austin, Texas will perform nine shows across the western United States and Canada this spring, ahead of their previously announced concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 1st, in support of moe. and Mike Gordon.
The two-week spring tour will begin with a show at Seattle, WA’s Neumos on April 17th, and continue throughout the remainder of the month before wrapping up with a gig at San Diego’s Belly Up on April 28th. Other scheduled stops on their upcoming spring tour include shows at Bellingham, WA’s Wild Buffalo (4/18); Vancouver, BC’s Rickshaw Theatre (4/19); Portland, OR’s Doug Fir Lounge (4/20); Petaluma, CA’s Mystic Theatre (4/23); Sacramento, CA’s Harlows (4/24); San Francisco, CA’s The Independent (4/25); and Los Angeles, CA’s Teragram Ballroom (4/26). Once & Future Band will support White Denim at their Petaluma, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and San Diego shows.
Prior to their shows in April, White Denim will head over the pond to the United Kingdom and Ireland for an 11-date international tour throughout the month of February.
White Denim’s 2018 tour dates have come in support of their eighth studio album, Performance, which the band released in late August via City Slang Records. The recent studio release has only further cemented the rock band as one of the most exciting live acts in the business, as they’ve spent the last few years touring extensively across the country as well as opening for The Revivalists, Umphrey’s Mcgee, and Eric Krasno, to name a few. White Denim has also enjoyed exposure on a larger scale, as the band recently performed on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
