194

Party-rock band Andy Frasco and the UN will issue a new studio album entitled Change Of Pace on February 22, 2019 via Fun Machine Records. Frasco and his band unveiled the title track for the LP and detailed a series of early 2019 tour dates.

Andy Frasco, drummer Andee Avila, guitarist Shawn Eckels, saxophonist Ernie Chang and bassist Chris Lorentz recorded 11 songs for the forthcoming LP. “‘Change of Pace’ is a song about finding your balance in life,” shared Frasco. “If you feel like your life is swinging too far to one side of the spectrum, it’s okay to take a step back every now and then to try something new.” Listen to “Change Of Pace” below:

The group will begin 2019 with their return to Jam Cruise. Andy Frasco & The U.N. then support Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe in Wilmington (North Carolina), Charleston (South Carolina) and Atlanta before embarking on a headlining tour. The quintet will make stops in Jacksonville, Raleigh, Savannah and Tampa to start the run. A Midwest swing includes stops in Minneapolis, Omaha, St. Louis, Chicago, Louisville, Madison, Ferndale (Michigan), Indianapolis, Cleveland, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. Next up is a series of dates in the Northeast. Frasco & Co. also confirmed a show at The Chapel in San Francisco on April 5 and one at Denver’s Bluebird Theater on April 20.
