Brooklyn afrobeat act Antibalas will celebrate their 20th anniversary with an extensive tour to start 2019. The band’s run includes a number of dates in North America.
Antibalas begins the run with two nights at Zebulon in Los Angeles on February 19 and 20. The group’s trip to California also includes dates in San Francisco, Oakland and Santa Cruz. Next comes a pair of shows at Seattle’s Nectar Lounge on February 28 and March 1. It’s then off to Vancouver on March 2 and Portland (Oregon) on March 5. The band’s North American leg continues in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 13 and Brooklyn on March 15 and 16 ahead of performances in Europe and a gig in Lagos, Nigeria on March 30.
Tickets go on sale Friday, December 7.
