Beck made a surprise appearance at Father John Misty’s benefit concert held last night at The Theatre At The Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. The event was in support of Southern California Disaster Relief Fund which is working on recovery efforts following the recent deadly California wildfires.
Beck led a performance of his hit “Where It’s At” while backed by Joshua Tillman (Father John Misty) on drums, Jonathan Wilson on guitar, HAIM’s Este Haim on bass and others. Beck and Jenny Lewis proved to be among the “very special guests” promised when the lineup was announced that featured Father John Misty, Haim, Jonathan Wilson, Lucius, Mac DeMarco, Nate Ruess, Rostam, Weyes Blood, Rivers Cuomo, Jeff Bhasker and Tim Heidecker.
