Bob Weir joined Golden Gate Wingmen during their concert on Saturday night at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California. The Grateful Dead guitarist and owner of the venue was on stage for most of the first set of the band’s second show of a three-night run.

Weir joined his Dead & Company band mate, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and his Wolf Bros. band mate, drummer Jay Lane, as well as guitarist John Kadlecik and bassist Reed Mathis on the fourth song of the opening set and remained on stage until intermission. Bobby was aboard for “Lazy River Road,” and led takes on Bob Dylan’s “Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again” and “Maggie’s Farm.” Weir also fronted his classic “Cassidy,” which was followed by “Lady with a Fan” > “Terrapin Station.” The collaboration drew to a close with a set-ending “Goin’ Down The Road Feeling Bad.”

Set two began with John K leading “Help On The Way” into “Slipknot!” before Mathis took charge of his “The Ladder.” The set also featured a cover of John Lennon’s “Nobody Told Me” and Dylan’s “Just Like A Woman” among the Dead’s “Dark Star” and “Standing On The Moon” and Kadlecik’s “Can’t Stop The Sun” and “What’s Become Of Mary.” The performance was capped with an encore of “Not Fade Away.” Watch the entire show from Saturday at Sweetwater below:
