Brandi Carlile, Janelle Monáe, John Legend and many others will perform at the all-star Aretha Franklin tribute concert, Aretha! A Grammy Celebration For The Queen Of Soul. The Recording Academy tapped Tyler Perry to host the event taking place January 13 at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium. CBS will air a special presentation of the concert later in 2019.
Other announced performers include Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Alessia Cara, Chloe X Halle, Kelly Clarkson, Common, Celine Dion, H.E.R., Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Patti LaBelle, SZA and BeBe Winans. A pre-sale for tickets to the January 13 concert in L.A. begins Friday, December 28 at 10 a.m. PT (code: Aretha). General on sale begins Monday, December 31 at 10 a.m. via this link.
