Wilco guitarist Nels Cline will team with Medeski Martin & Wood drummer Billy Martin, saxphonist Skerik and bassist MonoNeon for a performance at Sony Hall in New York City on December 29. The concert is a late-night affair scheduled to start after Phish’s show at the nearby Madison Square Garden concludes.
The upcoming show marks the debut of this specific lineup. Some of the musicians have performed together in the past. Specifically, the concert will bring the talents of Cline and Prince bassist MonoNeon together for the first time. Doors are scheduled to open at 11:30 p.m. with the show set to begin around 12:30 a.m. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
