Start Making Sense, the irresistible tribute band from eastern Pennsylvania will be recreating the acclaimed concert movie Stop Making Sense that was directed by Jonathan Demme. The band’s ability to lovingly recreate the music of one of the most creative bands in rock history have sent them touring across the country and vaulted them to the status as the number one tribute to the Talking Heads in America.
But don’t take our word for it, BERNIE WORRELL, the late great keyboard player and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member for Talking Heads and Parliament / Funkadelic said it best years ago: “To all you listeners… This is an appropriate title — Start Making Sense. This band makes plenty of sense to me, and is a great representation of Talking Heads’ music. So listen up and go check them out!”
The band is clearly pumped, “It’s happening. We are so excited and honored to be bringing our recreation of the legendary Stop Making Sense film to the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York! In case you’re wondering, yes – this is an entirely live, complete recreation of the film. Down to every last detail. Did you know that the microphone grills are black in the film? There is no silver hardware anywhere on stage? All those details and more will be on display in December!”

Additionally, the band will be touring extensively between now and the end of 2018 with shows throughout the northeast including other stops that the band has frequented during the holidays in the past. Winter and Spring of 2019 sees the band heading to new locations never before visited like Idaho in February and the Pacific Northwest for the first time this March.
