Last week, Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio announced the formation of a new band dubbed Ghosts Of The Forest along with a series of tour dates. Ghosts Of The Forest just added a pair of West Coast gigs to the end of the tour.
Ghosts Of The Forest will find Anastasio joined by Phish drummer Jon Fishman, Trey Anastasio Band bassist Tony Markellis, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and vocalist Jennifer Hartswick, along with vocalist Celisse. The first of the new dates will take place at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on April 19. From there, the group is now slated to end the tour at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California on April 20. While a special guest for the L.A. show is TBA, Khruangbin will open in Berkeley.
A pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, December 19 at 12 p.m. PT via Trey Ticketing. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 21 at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster (L.A. / Berkeley). Listen to a preview of the new project:
