Back in October, Ty Segall and White Fence visited Seattle-based independent radio station KEXP to perform a live session. The pair and their band played songs from the 2018 album Joy and 2011’s Hair. KEXP shared pro-shot video of the group’s set, which took place ahead of their show at Neumos.
Segall and Tim Presley (White Fence) led their band through the same run of four songs that kicks off Joy to begin their KEXP session: “Beginning,” “Please Don’t Leave This Town,” “Room Connector” and “Body Behavior.” Next came “My Friend” from the 2018 LP before they pulled “Easy Ryder,” “The Black Glove” and “Rag” from Hair.
