Umphrey’s McGee has teamed up with TourGigs to issue a new concert film entitled Live From Austin City Limits. The band’s first-ever full-show 4K release was filmed at Austin City Limits Live At The Moody Theater in Texas on August 31, 2018.
The sextet delivered a career-spanning collection of tunes in Austin back in August. Umphrey’s opened with the instrumental intro “You Got The Wrong Guy” and then launched into an “All In Time” they wouldn’t finish until the end of the second set. Included within are such classics as “Mantis,” “Professor Wormbog,” “2X2” and “Wappy Sprayberry” as well as a cover of ZZ Top’s “Cheap Sunglasses.” For the encore, UM paired beloved favorites “Hajimemashite” and “Glory.”
