William Tyler will release his latest studio album Goes West on January 25 via Merge Records. Today, the guitarist has shared a performance video of “Call Me When I’m Breathing Again” that he recorded with Meg Duffy of Hand Habits that was shot at Zebulon in Los Angeles.
“In the two years since I moved to Los Angeles, the new incarnation of Zebulon has become not just a haven for friends and musical discoveries but also an incubator of collaboration. Both Meg and I have done residencies there—in fact, it’s the first place we ever played as a duo,” shared Tyler. “It holds a magical place in my mind for this album, and getting to revisit this song with Meg again was really special.” Watch the video for “Call Me When I’m Breathing Again” that features Tyler on acoustic guitar and Duffy on electric guitar below:
Additionally, Tyler has confirmed a number of 2019 tour dates in support of the 10-track album. The instrumentalist will play a series of East Coast dates starting on February 26 at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City. From there, Tyler will hit Philadelphia and Washington D.C. along with a pair of gigs in North Carolina in Carrboro and Asheville. The guitarist then heads across the pond in late-April for a European tour that brings him to Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
