Billy Idol And Steve Stevens To Embark On Acoustic Duo Tour

143

Punk-rock singer Billy Idol and his longtime collaborator/guitarist Steve Stevens will head out on their first-ever duo tour later this winter. The two veteran rockers will hit 15 cities over a month-long trek, which will feature the musicians performing some of Idol’s biggest hits via nightly acoustic performances.

The “Turned On, Tuned In and Unplugged” North American tour will begin in Vancouver, Britsh Columbia on March 3rd, and continues throughout the winter month before wrapping on April 4th with a closing performance in Red Bank, New Jersey. Scheduled stops on the tour include shows at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, WA (3/5); Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco, CA (3/7); Ace Hotel Theatre in Los Angeles, CA (3/15); Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO (3/19); Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, ON (3/25); The Town Hall in New York City (3/27); Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C. (4/1); And the Lynn Auditorium in Lynn, MA (4/3), just to name a few.

In addition to presented acoustic versions of his biggest hits as well as less-popular deep cuts, Idol will also provide attendees with spoken word interludes between songs.

Idol was one of the featured performers at the 2018 edition of the Foo Fighters‘ CalJam Festival in California last fall. The punk rock singer was also scheduled to appear at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky in September, but inclimate weather forced organizers to cancel the event.

Exclusive fan pre-sale began on Wednesday morning and can now be accessed using the ticket passcode, “unplugged.” Fans can click here for tickets and more information on the upcoming tour.
