Circles Around The Sun Perform Live At Paste

175

Circles Around the Sun recently stopped by Paste Studio in The Manhattan Center in New York City to perform a live session. The band composed of guitarist Neal Casal, keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Dan Horne and drummer Mark Levy played songs from their 2018 sophomore album Let It Wander.

CATS are currently on the road opening for Greensky Bluegrass, with their supporting leg of the tour wrapping at Atlanta’s Tabernacle this Saturday, January 19. The psychedelic Grateful Dead-inspired quartet was formed in 2015 to create setbreak music for the Fare Thee Well shows.

The band sounded tighter than ever during the Paste Studio session, which clocked in at just over 40 minutes total and featured the Let It Wander tracks “On My Mind,” “One For Chuck” and “Halicarnassus.” The group offered their characteristic laid-back grooves and intertwining melodies across the session, with each of the three tracks spanning over 10 minutes each.
