Drive-By Truckers’ Patterson Hood & Mike Cooley Announce Dimmer Twins Tour

Drive-By Truckers band mates Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley will tour together as Dimmer Twins. The duo will perform on the East Coast in April and on the West Coast in May.

Dimmer Twins — named after the “Glimmer Twins” nickname given to The Rolling StonesMick Jagger and Keith Richards — will begin the April leg of their tour by appearing as part of the Savannah Music Festival in Georgia on April 11. They’ll then play two shows in Asheville, North Carolina followed by performances in Annapolis, Maryland and Sellersville, Pennsylvania. The month rounds out with a show in South Orange, New Jersey ahead of three shows in New York state with stops in Port Washington, Albany and Tarrytown.

Hood and Cooley will resume the Dimmer Twins tour on May 9 in Portland, Oregon. The pair will then play two nights in Seattle, followed by a return to Oregon for a show in Eugene. Four nights in California are also planned with concerts scheduled in Berkeley, San Francisco and a pair in Los Angeles. A pre-sale for tickets begins today. Regular tickets go on sale beginning Friday, January 18.
