Laneway Festival Adds Five New Acts To 2019 Lineup

184

St Jerome’s Laneway Festival has added five new acts to its 2019 lineup, before its annual festivities kick off in early February.

While this year’s Laneway lineup was first announced back in September, organisers have today confirmed that one triple j Unearthed act has joined the lineup in each city.

Laneway Festival’s 15th birthday celebrations will see Brisbane cop a set from local indie rockers Sweater Curse, while Sydney will host a performance from rapper and Gumbaynggirr man Tasman Keith.

Elsewhere, Melbourne will host the amazingly named RAT!hammock (check them out below), while Adelaide will see a performance from local indie pop-punk outfit Wing Defence.

Rounding things out, Perth singer-songwriter Carla Geneve will perform in Fremantle.

Today’s additions join a Laneway lineup which already boasted the likes of Gang Of Youths, Courtney Barnett, Rex Orange County, Methyl Ethel, Middle Kids, Jorja Smith, What So Not, Denzel Curry and Parquet Courts.
