Mac DeMarco detailed his upcoming 2019 North American Tour. In addition to new tour dates, the guitarist also confirmed a new album will be released this year.
DeMarco added a batch of tour dates in May, including two nights in Seattle and five shows spread across California. An August show in Brooklyn, New York was added as were a number of East Coast and Midwest stops in September and October. DeMarco will return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver on October 6. The new dates join several previously confirmed festival appearances and other headlining performances. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 18.
The tour announcement noted “2019 will also see the release of new music from Mac,” which will be in the form of “the debut release on Mac’s Record Label.” More details are expected at a later date.
