Last November, during the The Marcus King Band‘s tour in support of Carolina Confessions, Marcus King stopped by the studios of Boston public television station WGBH for a live session. The Greensville, South Carolina-based musician performed four songs solo acoustic from his Dave Cobb-produced LP. WGBH shared professionally-shot video of the session.
King offered up unadorned takes on “8 A.M.,” “Remember,” “Goodbye Carolina” and “Autumn Rains” along with sharing stories, talking about his guitar and giving some insight into his songwriting process. Watch Marcus King’s session for WGBH below:
