Additional topics they cover include William’s first guitar lessons, his work with Lambchop, the ways he’s been a mentor to other musicians and more. The Grateful Dead Steal Your Face sticker prominently featured on one of William’s guitars also comes up during their conversation. The interview concludes with William detailing the recording of Goes West, which features Meg Duffy, Bill Frisell, Brad Cook, Griffin Goldsmith and other talented contributors.

The first JamBase Podcast episode of 2019 begins with The Rundown and David Onigman and Scott Bernstein recapping several New Year’s Eve concerts.
