Vampire Weekend Announces North American Tour 2019

Vampire Weekend will soon embark on their most ambitious tour yet. The lengthy North American jaunt comes in support of the soon-to-be-released Father Of The Bride studio album, which is due this spring via Columbia Records.

The tour kicks off at RBC Echo Beach in Toronto on June 5. From there, VW hits Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Madison (Wisconsin), St. Louis, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago, Raleigh, Charlotte and Dover over the course of June. Vampire Weekend returns to the road starting on August 16 at The Criterion in Oklahoma City. A swing through Texas includes stops in Houston, Dallas and Austin before visits to Miami and St. Augustine in Florida. Next up are performances in Atlanta and Norfolk to end August.

Vampire Weekend begins September with a series of arena and shed shows in the Northeast, including stops at Boston’s Agganis Arena on September 3, The Mann in Philadelphia on September 4 and Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 6. It’s then up to Canada for performances in Montreal and Vancouver. The tour is currently scheduled to conclude with West Coast swing that features gigs in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Salt Lake City. Vampire Weekend headlines the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on October 8.

Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public starting next Friday, February 8 at 12 p.m. local time at LiveNation.com. Vampire Weekend teamed with Ticketmaster to sell tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform. Registration is open now here and closes this Sunday, February 3 at 12 p.m. ET. Those who receive a code will have access to purchase tickets before the general public on Tuesday, February 5 at 10 a.m. loocal time through Thursday, February 7 at 10 p.m. local time.
