The inaugural 4848 Festival will be held atop Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, West Virginia July 11 – 13. Organizers All Good Presents are aiming to present “an evolved summer experience” as an alternative to campout festivals by offering accommodations within the resort’s Mountain Village. The lineup for the event, which takes its name from its location 4848′ above sea level, was revealed today.
Greensky Bluegrass will play two nights of the new event with Umphrey’s McGee and The Infamous Stringdusters also atop the bill. Addtionally, Lettuce, Railroad Earth, The Marcus King Band, Billy Strings, Turkuaz, Fruition and Rayland Baxter are confirmed for the first-ever 4848 Festival. Various ticketing and lodging options go on sale next Tuesday, February 19 at 10 a.m. ET via the festival’s website.
