Today, Buffalo-native groove rock quartet Aqueous has announced a new “Jam of the Week” series. Each week, the band will release a new live track for their fans’ listening pleasure.
For the first edition of the series, the band has shared audio of their cover of The Police classic “Synchronicity II” from their recent performance at Rose Music Hall in Columbia, MO. The cover came midway through the band’s set and marked the band’s first rendition the song since November 14th, 2014—a gap of 423 shows.

Aqueous is currently in the midst of a nationwide co-headlining tour with BIG Something. This weekend, the two bands are making their way through the Rockies on a 5-night Colorado run.
As guitarist Mike Gantzer explained to Live For Live Music earlier this month, “I’m looking forward to the whole thing. I haven’t spent too much time out there but the times that I have, they’ve been completely mind-blowing to me. It’s almost like a different world, every city on the tour looks amazing to me. We’re always stoked to go back out to Colorado.”
Following performances in Durango, CO and Avon, CO on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, Aqueous and BIG Something head to Winter Park for a performance on Friday, February 15th. From there, the two bands will make their way to The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park on Saturday, February 16th and Denver’s Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom on Sunday, February 17th.
