On March 1, Consider The Source will self-release their first new album in four years, You Are Literally A Metaphor. The sci-fi fusion act shared the video for the LP’s lead single “Enemies of magicK.”
The instrumental trio features bassist John Ferrara, drummer Jeff Mann and guitarist Gabriel Marin. The New York City-based band’s nine-track effort is set to highlight their “blend of progressive rock and improvisatory jazz, soaked in Indian and Middle Eastern styles.” Additionally, Consider The Source has detailed a nationwide headlining tour in support of the release that kicks off at The Press Room in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on February 21. The 23-date run features nights in Norwich, Cleveland, Grand Rapids, Chicago, Omaha, Boulder and Atlanta.
