Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real returned Wednesday to The Troubadour in Los Angeles for the second of two shows. Nelson and his band followed Tuesday’s guest-filled concert with a performance featuring actor Dennis Quaid singing lead on a cover of The Doors’ “Riders On The Storm.”
Nelson and POTR brought out Jimmy Buffett, members of Lucius and Hunter Elizabeth during their show Tuesday at The Troubadour. Elizabeth also joined the band during Wednesday’s concert, including a version of the Academy Award-nominated “Shallow” from A Star Is Born. Quaid came on stage with his DQ and The Sharks band mate, guitarist Jamie James, for the cover of the song originally released on The Doors’ 1971 album L.A. Woman.
