Guitarist Gary Clark Jr. will hit the road this summer for a series of North American dates in support of THIS LAND. The tour follows a lengthy spring tour that begins in Miami Beach, Florida on March 9 and runs through a series of shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium April 5 – 7.
The Austin-based axeslinger kicks off the summer tour at Republik in Honolulu on July 19 and 20 and a performance at Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Maui on July 21. Gary Clark Jr. returns to the mainland to start the next portion of the run at Meadow Brook Amphitheater in Rochester Hills, Michigan on August 4. From there, the guitarist brings the tour to Council Bluffs (Iowa), Minneapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City and Asheville through August 19.
On September 4, Gary Clark Jr. plays the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Next up are visits to Vail, Bonner (Montana), Vancouver, Troutdale (Oregon), Bend, Reno, Aspen, Phoenix and Santa Barbara. The guitarist is currently scheduled to conclude the tour at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 29. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 15 at 10 a.m. local time one week before the release of THIS LAND via Warner Bros. Records.
