Colorado’s Head for the Hills will issue a new EP entitled Say Your Mind on March 22. The Fort Collins-based band will support the EP with a string of dates this spring.

Head For The Hills recorded the EP at Swingfingers Studios in their hometown. A number of guests contributed to Say Your Mind including drummer Darren Garvey (Elephant Revival), vocalist Kim Dawson (Matador! Soul Sounds), guitarist Mike Tallman (Eufoquestra), keyboardist James Thomas and a full horn section. “Developing songs for the new EP and playing with this extended lineup has been very liberating. Suddenly it feels like there are zero limitations,” said guitarist/vocalist Adam Kinghorn. “The new material reflects both the turbulent social rhythms of our current era and more timeless moments of joy, growth, and change—think #MeToo, the current body politic, and inequality, but also relationships, fatherhood and growing up,” as per press materials announcing the EP.

The band celebrates Valentine’s Day at Tractor Tavern in Seattle on Thursday and then heads to Oregon for shows in Hood River on Friday and Portland on Saturday. Next month, Head For The Hills play Salt Lake City on March 15 and mark release day with a special performance at eTown Hall in Boulder. In April, the group begins a swing through the Northeast and the Midwest at The State Theatre in Falls Church, Virginia on the 3rd. From there, HFTH plays New York City, Burlington, Westport (Connecticut), Philadelphia, Lima (New York), Ferndale (Michigan), Grand Rapids and Chicago before concluding the tour at The Bootleg At Atomic Cowboy in St. Louis on April 13.
