Last weekend, pianist Holly Bowling was on the road in the northeast opening up for Railroad Earth, and also sitting in with the band during their sets. The three-night run saw the musicians perform at Albany NY’s The Egg on Thursday, Boston, MA’s The Wilbur on Friday, and The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on Saturday.

For her opening set on Saturday at Port Chester’s iconic rock palace, Holly was joined by Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone on fiddle and Mike Robinson on pedal steel guitar for a moving cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Brokedown Palace”.
