In March, famed rock photographer Jay Blakesberg will bring his Between The Dark And Light Grateful Dead slideshow storytelling event to Port Chester, New York; Atlanta and Nashville. Two of the events will feature a live music component with the night in Nashville also including an onstage conversion with Paradigm talent agent Jonathan Levine.
The first of the three events will take place on March 16 at the Garcia’s at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester prior to the Phil Lesh & Friends show and is free to ticket-holders who can RSVP via TicketFly. Blakesberg will then head to City Winery’s outpost in Atlanta on March 19 for an event that will feature a performance from Grateful Dead tribute act Cosmic Charlie.
The final night will take place the City Winery in Nashville on March 20. Blakesberg will host a Q&A with Levine, who is the agent to Lesh, Bob Weir, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price and more. Additionally, singer-songwriter Steve Poltz will perform throughout the night.
