As reported, Widespread Panic’s JoJo Hermann will celebrate the lead up to Mardi Gras by embarking on a short tour with his Slim Wednesday band. The keyboardist has now revealed that he will play a rare solo set at each show.
Additionally, the run will also include a portion of each night dedicated the musical legacy of New Orleans’ piano legend Professor Longhair, who would have turned 100 this year. The openers for three of the four shows have also been confirmed. Brass-A-Holics have been tapped for February 28 at The Hamilton Live in Washington, D.C., while the Billy Walton Band will appear at the Metro Gallery in Baltimore on March 1 and Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pennsylvania the following night.
