As funk favorites Lettuce continue their 2019 winter Vibe Up Tour, the band has dug into their vaults to release a pro-shot video from their October 21, 2017 performance at The Fillmore Denver in Denver, Colorado.
The newly shared video gives you a multi-cam look at the band’s performance of “By Any Shmeeans Necessary” from their 2008 album, Rage. As the track’s title suggests, guitarist Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff shines in the performance, adding an extra layer of funk by way of his talkbox-assisted playing.
As Lettuce trumpeter Eric “Benny” Bloom noted in a Facebook post sharing the video, “Proud to be in a band with my best friends getting the chance to play ORIGINAL music for people all of the world.”

Lettuce’s ongoing winter tour continues on Tuesday, February 19th, with a performance at Minglewood Hall in Memphis, TN followed by a show at Oklahoma City, OK’s Tower Theatre the following night, Wednesday, February 20th. The band will head west this weekend for a run of shows in Colorado beginning with a two-night stand a The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO, the hotel that inspired Stephen King‘s The Shining.
