Maggie Rose Covers ‘The Letter’: Performance Video & Interview Clip Premiere

201

Vocalist and songwriter Maggie Rose is gearing up to hit the road as direct support for Kelly Clarkson. While Rose usually focuses on original material, she recorded a powerful cover of “The Letter” by The Box Tops for her critically-acclaimed 2018 album Change The Whole Thing. JamBase is pleased to premiere an interview clip about the recording as well as the resulting rendition of “The Letter.” All of Change The Whole Thing was recorded live.

Rose and her band head off on this year’s Cayamo concert cruise on February 10 with the likes of Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Emmylou Harris and Dawes. The run of dates in support of Clarkson begins at PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania on March 9. Maggie then has a full slate of headlining performances scheduled at the end of March and throughout April. This July, Maggie Rose will make her Peach Music Festival debut.
