MGMT will focus on headlining gigs with a festival appearance thrown in this May. The band makes their way across the country from the West Coast to the Midwest to the Northeast.
The tour kicks off at the Fox Theater in Oakland on May 2. MGMT then plays the Just Like Heaven Festival in Long Beach, California. From there, the band heads to the Midwest via Tucson, Houston and Oklahoma City. Gigs in Kansas City, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit and Grand Rapids are followed by shows in Pittsburgh on May 16 and New Haven on May 17. MGMT are currently scheduled to end the tour with three nights at the newly renovated Webster Hall in New New York City on May 22 – 24.
A fan club pre-sale starts on Wednesday, February 27. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 1.
