Following an almost two-year-absence from touring, Trey Anastasio Band has announced their return with a four-night run of southern shows this spring.
Trey Anastasio and his regular touring outfit consisting of Tony Markellis, Russ Lawton, Ray Paczkowski, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, James Casey, and Cyro Baptista will open up their four-night run of shows with a performance at St. Petersburg, FL’s Jannus Live on May 28th, followed by a show at St. Augustine, FL’s St. Augustine Amphitheatre on May 29th. TAB will wrap their brief run of southern shows with a two-night run at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA, on Friday and Saturday, May 31st and June 1st.
As of now, Trey Anastasio Band’s only other scheduled date is a performance at The Peach Music Festival this July.
A fan pre-sale for the newly announced TAB dates begins tomorrow, Tuesday, February 12th at 12 p.m. (EST) and continues through this Thursday, February 14th at 5 p.m. EST here.
The general public on-sale begins on Friday, February 15th, at 10 a.m. (EST) for Atlanta; 11 a.m. (EST) for St. Petersburg; and 12 p.m. (EST) for St. Augustine.
In other Trey Anastasio Band news, the band recently released a live album compiled of their two-night tour closing run at Oakland, CA’s Fox Theater from November 3rd and 4th, 2017. The shows featured on the album marked the eight-piece band’s last hard ticket shows played together. Since then, Trey Anastasio has performed a number of dates with TAB members Russ Lawton and Tony Markellis as the Trey Anastasio Trio, in addition to some augmented Trey Anastasio Trio dates featuring keyboardist Ray Paczkowski.

In addition to the new Trey Anastasio Band dates and Phish‘s previously announced summer tour, Anastasio will mount a run of dates with his mysterious new project, Ghosts of the Forest, in April.
