In case you are existing under a very large rock, the Super Bowl 2019 is going down right now and Maroon 5 just hopped off the hallowed half time show stage following a performance that has left people with…feelings.

They opened the show with Songs About Jane smashes ‘Harder To Breathe’ and ‘This Love’, before Spongebob and Squidward – yes, you read correctly – introduced Travis Scott to perform his seminal hit and #3 on the 2018 Hottest 100, ‘SICKO MODE.’ Wow, that was a sentence I never thought I’d have to write.

Levine and co. then took to the stage to perform ‘Girls Like You’ without Cardi B, as she declined the offer to stand in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick and his boycott of the NFL. They then performed ‘She Will Be Loved’ before Atlanta legend Big Boi took to the stage to perform OutKast classic ‘The Way You Move.’

Finally, the band then played ‘Sugar’ and ‘Moves Like Jagger’. The performance ended there, but it seems like no one who watched it actually enjoyed it. Frankly, it seems like everyone hated it.

Even Mark Hoppus didn’t mince his words when letting his thoughts know.

On top of that, people are calling some serious bullsh*t on the fact that Janet Jackson got endlessly dragged through the mud when her nipple was flashed, and not of her own accord, during the 2004 Super Bowl, but Adam Levine can prance around shirtless with no likely ramifications.
