As reported, last weekend Jeremy Schon of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong was moe.‘s guest for appearances during two shows at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. moe. guitarist Chuck Garvey returned the favor on Saturday night by joining Pigeons Playing Ping Pong for a song.
PPPP loaded their hour-long set with staples including “Henrietta,” “Live It Up” and “Julia.” The quartet worked a cover of the “Cantina Theme” from Star Wars into their own “Porcupine” as the sole cover of the set. For the finale, Pigeons welcomed Chuck for the beloved “Poseidon.” Garvey took a solo during the intro and then went toe-to-toe with Schon to bring the set to a close.
