Connect Beyond Festival Reveals Final 2019 Lineup

The second annual Connect Beyond Festival will take place in downtown Asheville April 5 – 7. Organizers recently revealed the full lineup of musical performances, panels, film screenings and workshops.

Events will take place at various venues around Asheville leading Ashvegas to call the event, “Asheville’s version of SXSW.” Music forward showcases will be held at The Orange Peel and Diana Wortham Theater and included a fireside chat hosted by Bob Boilen of NPR fame with Fantastic Negrito. Kishi Bashi, Nick Lowe’s Quality Rock & Roll Revue starring Los Straitjackets and Victor Wooten are among the performers aboard for Connect Beyond 2019. Wooten and and Daniel Levitin who unite for “Your Spirit On Music meets Your Brain on Music.” The pair will “perform a range of music together and share stories about spirituality, creativity, and neuroscience” as per a press release.
