Formula 5 Announces Indefinite Hiatus

124

After a seven-year run Formula 5 has announced that they will go on indefinite hiatus beginning in mid-July. The Upstate New York jam-act will play their final club show for the foreseeable future on March 29 Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs.

The four-piece band will then say goodbye to the road with a handful of festival appearances along with hosting Rock The Dock, their one-day music festival on July 12, which will serve as their official sendoff.

Formula 5 shared the following message on their Facebook page:

To our Fans, Family, and Friends,

After seven years of performing across the country, Formula 5 has decided to take a break from the road. Playing music for all of you has been, and is, the most soulfully rewarding experience we could have ever imagined. Never in our wildest dreams would we have pictured all this. We thank you, truly, for all the love we have received.

Starting this July we will be taking an indefinite hiatus from touring. We thank you all for your continued support over the years. We never would have made it this if it wasn’t for you. We love you all very much.

On March 29th we will play Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs. This will be our last club show for the foreseeable future. We will perform at Disc Jam and Beanstalk Music Festivals, and Formula 5’s Rock The Dock will go on as planned on July 12th, at the Lake George Steamboat Company, Lake George, NY. This years fest will be bigger and better than ever and we’ll be revealing part of the lineup at Putnam Place later this month.

We thank you all for your love and dedication as fans and now family. We hope to see your smiling faces at these four shows to help celebrate the music we all hold so dear.
