For the eighth release of their ongoing Full Show Friday series, Ghost Light has shared an official recording of their performance at Terminal West in Atlanta from December 1. The group has also shared a pro-shot video from that night of “Don’t Come Apart Just Yet, My Dear,” the lead single from their forthcoming debut album Best Kept Secrets, which is set to be released on March 22.
Guitarists Tom Hamilton and Raina Mullen, keyboardist Holly Bowling, bassist Steve Lyons and drummer Scotty Zwang delivered a seamless, first set that night at Terminal West. The five-piece act offered a 20+ minute take on “Keep Your Hands To Yourself” as the catalyst for the exploratory four-song opening frame that also featured a jammed-out take on Leonard Cohen’s “Everyboby Knows.”
The second set of the night got off the ground with a pair of songs from Hamilton’s American Babies songbook as they offered up the pairing of “Winter War Games” and “Old Time Religion.” The quintet would then dig in on a lengthy version of Mullen’s “I Dare You” before finishing things off with the title track from their upcoming debut album. Ghost Light looked to “Don’t Come Apart Just Yet, My Dear” as their lone encore in Atlanta that evening.
