Jazz Fest Adds John Prine, Corey Henry, PJ Morton, More To 2019 Lineup

The world-famous Jazz Fest will return to the Fair Grounds Race Course to celebrate their 50th anniversary from Thursday, April 25th through Sunday, the 28th, and Thursday, May 2nd to Sunday, May 5th. That’s right, both weekends will start on a Thursday and end on a Sunday, alleviating some of the crowded atmospheres that the first weekend is traditionally known for.

Jazz Fest has added a new batch of performers to their already extensive 2019 lineup, with John Prine, Aloe Blacc, Bleachers, and New Orleans’ own PJ Morton heading the newly added artists.

Corey Henry & Treme Funket, Dja Rara, Sarah Quintana, Paula & the Pontiacs, and Kumbuka African Drum & Dance Collective have also been added to the schedule, organizers announced.
