moe. wrapped up a two-night stand at Brooklyn Bowl’s outpost in Las Vegas on Saturday. For the second night in a row, the Buffalo-born band teamed with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong guitarist Jeremy Schon.

The five-piece act got their night in Sin City going with the seamless pairing of “Mar-DeMa” and recently debuted “Dangerous Game.” After a take on “ATL,” Schon emerged. The PPPP guitarist sat in with moe. on Friday for a take on the Grateful Dead’s “Deal.” Last night he lent a hand on fan-favorite “Happy Hour Hero” that featured Schon and moe. guitarist Chuck Garvey lock-in and exchange guitar riffs throughout.

An expansive jam-filled run opened up the second set as the quintet looked to “Lazarus” first. Old-school tunes “Hi & Lo” and “Brent Black” followed. “Bearsong” got its first 2019 workout with a fiery and exploratory “Recreational Chemistry” putting a cap on the jam-heavy frame. moe. looked to The Who’s “Pinball Wizard” as their lone encore in Las Vegas. Last night marked just the fifth ever take on Tommy track, which was revived last year after sitting unplayed for twelve years.
