Vulfpeck shared a video of Mr. Talkbox covering their song “Darwin Derby.” Ghost-Note bassist MonoNeon followed by posting a video mashing up his playing along to Mr. Talkbox’s version of the song from Vulfpeck’s 2018 album Hill Climber.
Mr. TalkBox (Byron Chambers) layered together seven tracks featuring his use of the talk box effect. As he regularly does, MonoNeon took that video and recorded an additional bass part, synchronized the two clips and posted them together. The resulting mashup cover of “Darwin Derby” can be seen below:
