Phosphorescent recorded a pair of songs for a new installment of the Spotify Singles series. Matthew Houck & Co. performed the title track of his most recent album and covered a J.J. Cale song at Spotify’s New York City studios.

Up first is an intimate recording of “C’est La Vie No. 2” from Houck’s 2018 record of the same name. Next, Phosphorescent tackles J.J. Cale’s “Wish I Had Not Said That.” Cale’s original version can be found on his 1981 album, Shades. Listen to Phosphorescent’s Spotify Singles session below:
