Following his recent move to the musical hotbed that is Denver, CO, TAUK drummer Isaac Teel has announced his own little new hometown pop-up show at Your Mom’s House this Thursday, March 14th, billed as Your Mom’s Favorite Jam (purchase tickets here).
Teel will be joined for an open jam session featuring local players such as bassist Josh Fairman (SunSquabi/Analog Son), saxophonist Nicholas Gerlach (Michal Menert & The Pretty Fantastics), drummer/percussionist Will Trask (RunniKine), and keyboardist Chris Beck (Jaden Carlson Band).
Outside of showcasing his massive drumming skills touring around the country in TAUK, Teel dropped his own solo album Gentlemen’s Day back in 2017 (using his first and middle name, Isaac Sinclair). The album saw Isaac mix his Gospel roots with R&B, blues, Afro-Cuban beats, and more into his own version of Urban Soul. Over the last several years, he has become one of the most well-respected drummers in the scene for his deep versatility and ability to lay down some smooth vocals when the opportunity presents itself.
