On Friday night, The Marcus King Band made their headlining debut on the big stage at The Capitol Theatre. The show had historical implications at the iconic Port Chester, NY rock palace. The performance was originally announced as part of a two-show stand at The Cap’s smaller venue space, Garcia’s. However, due to overwhelming demand for tickets, The Marcus King Band’s second Garcia’s show was moved over to The Capitol Theatre’s 1,800-capacity main room—marking the first time ever that a show booked at Garcia’s was upgraded to The Cap. Adding to the exciting nature of the performance, Marcus King and company sold out their upgraded show.
