Last month, Tortoise took part in Pitchfork’s Midwinter 2019 festival at The Art Institute of Chicago. The post-rock act performed their 1998 album, TNT, in its entirety in honor of its 21st anniversary.
The three-day festival curated by Pitchfork also included appearances from likes of Kamasi Washington, Panda Bear, Hiss Golden Messenger and Mount Eerie. Tortoise was augmented by strings and horns at various points of their rendering of the 12-track LP. Watch Tortoise perform their third studio album in full below:
