In September of last year, Turkuaz released their latest studio album Life In The City. The Brooklyn-based funk ensemble has shared the video for the LP’s latest single “Superstatic.”
Directed by Dani Brandwein and Jocelyn Piece the video was shot in front of green screens at Brooklyn Bowl. “From the inception stage of us writing and recording this song, it was always about capturing the vibrant energy of what we aim to do as a band,” shared guitarist/vocalist Dave Brandwein. “It’s a throwback to some of our favorite music of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, but with our own Turkuaz spin.” Check out the video for “Superstatic” below:
