Twiddle Welcomes Marcus Rezak & Iya Terra And Spells Out ‘LOS ANGELES JAMS’ In LA: Full Show Audio

176

Twiddle continued their winter tour on Friday night at The Troubadour in Los Angeles. Not only did the band spell out “LOS ANGELES JAMS” with the first letter of each song played, Twiddle also welcomed guitarist Marcus Rezak and L.A.’s own Iya Terra for guest appearances as part of Friday’s show. Twiddle shared official audio of the concert, which can be streamed below.

A pairing of “Lost In The Cold” and “Orlando’s” got the show underway before a run of “Syncopated Healing,” “Apples” and “Nicodemus Portulay.” Twiddle brought the frame to a close with a nicely extended “Gatsby The Great.” Set Two began with “Enter” into “Latin Tang” and romps through “Earth Mama” and “Second Wind.” An adventurous “Jamflowman” came next. Frontman Mihali Savoulidis recently discussed the song with Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend during a recent podcast and came out to meet the guys.

Amydst The Myst” followed “Jamflowman” and then Twiddle welcomed L.A.-based guitarist Marcus Rezak for “Mamunes The Faun.” For the encore, the quartet and Iya Terra went with the Sublime version of “Smoke Two Joints,” a song originally written by The Toyes.
