In mid-February, Umphrey’s McGee headed to New York City for a three-night stand at Brooklyn Steel. The band shared pro-shot video of their cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” with guest singer Kanika Moore from their final show of the run.

After a guest-free opening night and a Friday performance featuring sit-ins from a horn section and TAUK drummer Isaac Teel, the band finished out the run on Saturday, February 16 with Moore (who is a member of UM bassist Ryan Stasik‘s synthwave side project Doom Flamingo) emerging at the end of the first set. Positioned on stage between Stasik and guitarist Jake Cinninger, Moore led the jam outfit through a heavy-hitting, eight-minute rendition of the Physical Graffiti number, which also marked the first time UM had performed the cover in 123 shows.
